The eco-cruise on Gatun Lake lasts approximately 90 minutes, providing ample time for wildlife spotting and watching large ships pass by.
You'll have the opportunity to see three species in their natural habitat: the White-faced Capuchin, Mantled Howler, and Geoffroy's Tamarin.
Absolutely — this is an educational and exciting experience for all ages. The boat ride is calm and the jungle walk is light, adaptable to the group's pace, making it very family-friendly.
Rain is part of the tropical adventure — our boats are covered for your comfort. The tour runs rain or shine, as the jungle truly comes alive in the rain. Tours are only cancelled in the rare event of extreme weather that would compromise safety.
We're visiting animals in their natural habitat, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, our expert guides know the best spots and times, and it is extremely rare not to encounter several species of monkeys and other fascinating wildlife.
Restrooms are available at the starting point in Gamboa. During the boat ride and the jungle walk, no facilities are available — plan accordingly before departure.
